Cygnet Centre for Peacebuilding & Transformation Ltd. (Cygnet) is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to fostering peace, justice, healing and community safety. We work to strengthen the development of healthy social, ecological and spiritual relationships across all sectors of human activity and cultural life. 

At Cygnet, we believe in the power of relationships, deep listening and collective wisdom. We work alongside individuals, communities and organisations through culturally grounded, trauma-aware, healing centred and participatory approaches. Our work addresses conflict, adversity and harm, supporting transformation and lasting change. A key feature of our work is our creative and collaborative approach, honouring the unique strengths, aspirations, stories and needs of those we walk alongside. Our work is deeply relational and responsive, offering bespoke values-aligned pathways that foster connection, safety, healing and transformation.

Our vision of transforming relationships through peacebuilding and restorative practices is realised in many different offerings, always tailored to meet the unique needs of each community, system or setting. These offerings include community engagement and development processes, trauma-aware and healing centred facilitation, conflict transformation, restorative processes, leadership development, training, keynote speaking and the curation of community events.

Our reach spans urban, regional and remote contexts across Australia and internationally, including the United States, the South Pacific and Italy; always guided by local wisdom, cultural safety and deep respect. 

As a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC), Cygnet is currently working toward achieving Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status.
